50 Precious Words 2023

Another year, another #50PreciousWords! This contest continues to be one of my favorites. The practice of simplifying words never ends for us writers! Thank you Vivian Kirkfield for giving your time every year to make this happen!

The challenge was to write a story in 50 words or less, with a beginning, middle and end, appropriate for children 12 years or younger.

This year, I wrote while hungry. Although, I’m pretty sure I’m always hungry.
