50 Precious Words 2021

…And you thought under 500 words was tough!

What a fun, creative challenge from Vivian Kirkfield to “make every word count!”

The rules are simple: Write a story in #50PreciousWords or less, appropriate for children 12 years or younger.

This idea has been buzzing for a while. Inspired by my first grade students who are currently experimenting with writing and putting “finger spaces” between their words.

Can I get an “amen” teachers?!
